Scope of the work

You will be immersed with a full cycle process of successful co-op placement for foreign educated international students studying career training programs at Vanwest College.

Being front line representative of Vanwest College, you will be delivering co-op orientation, involved in co-op students counselling, assist with job development process, interview preparation, goal setting & expectation management and manage administrative aspect of co-op delivery.

Qualification for this job:

§Others find you approachable and you easily approach others in social & business setting

§Ability to speak to a group and present

§Willing to connect with students on facebook and other social media platform

§Experience working with internationally training young professionals or ESL students

§Some exposure to giving instruction on resume, cover letter and interview practice

§You are good at listening, asking questions, analyzing a situation and finding solution when needed

§Most importantly, you follow through and close a deal!!

Working condition:

üFull time offer with 3 months probationary period (35 hours a week)

üStandard work schedule Monday to Friday

Starting wage of $17 to $19 per hour (Annual salary of $30,940 to $34,580) with anticipated first pay review after completion of 6 month
