Receptionist (Maple Ridge and Port Coquitlam)

We are looking for 2 receptionists for both our Port Coquitlam and Maple Ridge offices. This position is part time.

Job Description

Coordinates and manages the initial greeting of customers, incoming phone calls,
the appointment log, passing out completed returns, and making of client packets.
The receptionist should also handle other clerical duties as assigned by the office
supervisor or general manager. These duties may include, but are not limited to,
ordering and organizing office supplies, processing client mailings, and making
coffee for the waiting area.

 Duties:

o Greets customers in office and determines their service needs
o Distributes cheques
o Answers incoming phone calls
o Coordinates client flow, inquiries, and schedules appointments for customers
on the phone and in person
o Prepares client service packets and has customers begin appropriate
paperwork before their interview; maintains an ample supply of pre-made
packets
o Calls prior customers to schedule appointments
o Maintains the return filing cabinet, handles return pickups
o Maintains office appearance
o Assists in preparation of courier pouches and receives, organizes and files
incoming material
o Handles client complaints professionally and refers customers to the
individual who can assist them
