Sicom are currently seeking several QC Technicians for Machined Components (NOC Code 7231) to join our team in Langley, British Columbia on a full-time basis. We work on a Monday to Friday schedule and there are two shift options available with flexibility on start times: Morning 06.00 am – 2:30 pm Afternoon 2:30 pm – 10:30 pm (paid Lunch Break) In this role, you will be responsible for verifying dimensions of machined parts, tooling using mirometers, verniers, callipers, height gauges, optical compatators, co-ordinate measuring machines (CMM) or other specialized measuring instruments. Primary responsibilities include: Inspecting, repairing and calibrating precision measuring instruments such as dial indicators, fixed gauges, height gauges and other measuring devices Completing and maintaining inspection reports For this role, our ideal candidate will have completed a four-year apprenticeship program or have a minimum of four years of work experience in the trade, combined with some relevant education.
