About the Opportunity

Enginuity Consulting Ltd. is currently looking for a Project Engineer to join our team in Burnaby, BC.

In this role, you will function as an engineer of record in your areas of practice while delegating balance of scope to other engineers. You will manage and coordinate engineering tasks and activities to ensure projects are executed in an effective and timely manner, with company and project objectives achieved. You will also ensure technical and scope accuracy is accomplished and that project objectives are met.

In order to qualify for this role, you will need a Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, industrial or facilities engineering combined with 4-10 years of experience in consulting, engineering design or EPCM.

The ideal candidate will also have the following:

-Current registration with the EGBC.
-Previous project engineering and management experience.
-Experience in attaining various permits from authorities having jurisdiction.
-Proficiency with applicable code (E.g. BCBC, ASHRAE, ASME, OHS) and other relevant code and standards.
-Strong understanding of scope, time, risk, and quality management.
-Strong understanding and application of engineering codes, standards, and best practices.
-Competence and willingness to undertake professional responsibility on engineering designs.
-Ability to coordinate multidisciplinary teams and provide supervision.
-Carry a Class 5 drivers license and own a vehicle.

The successful candidate will be an innovative, self-starter with strong leadership and communication skills. You will also have impeccable attention to detail and demonstrated organizational skills, including the ability to multi-task and work under pressure.
