(Temporary, Full Time  – 18 Month Term)

We have an upcoming opening for the temporary, full-time position of Water Supply & Treatment Operator II. The successful candidate will have a valid BC driver’s license, a diploma in Water Quality Technology or a related field and an EOCP Water Treatment Level II certification. A lesser qualified candidate may be considered in a Level I position.

You have excellent mechanical aptitude and a willingness to learn under the direction of the Level III and IV operators. You are physically capable of the demands of the job and are able to work in adverse conditions. Two years of water treatment experience are required.

Reporting to the Lead Water Supply & Treatment Operator, the Water Supply & Treatment Operator II operates and maintains water supply and treatment facilities, including a range of work from the small water systems, wells and lake sources to a Class IV water treatment plant.
