Utility Worker Needed – Langley

Our busy packaging plant located in Aldergrove, BC is currently seeking candidates that are a good fit to work 12-hour utility positions that require operating various different machines including forklift & Electric pallet jack.

Our basic requirements:
– Able to work rotating 12-hour shifts, including weekends
– Has a car, no transit in the area
– Able to commit to working 12-hour rotational shifts
– Able to speak and understand English, employees are required to read, follow

As a 12-Hour Utility worker, your main duties are:
• Provide break relief for machine operators as needed.
• Confirm previous shifts utility supplies are correct.
• Gather materials using a forklift in the warehouse.
• Use an electric pallet jack to bring materials on the production floor.
• Place materials in designated areas.
• Remove previous materials prior to shift start.
• Fill and maintain consumables as required in designated areas.
• Remove previous WO packing documents and unused labels.
• Review purge totes every shift. Weigh, label, and move purge totes to the
warehouse as needed.
• Cross-train in various departments – assist with cleaning, production hall
product removal, plant floor audit findings, scrap removal, etc.

Shift time: Sunday – Saturday – 11:30am – 11:30pm
Must have a car, NO TRANSIT in the area
Wage: $18/hr to start

Qualifications
– 1+ years of warehouse operations experience
– Valid Sit Down Counter Balance Forklift ticket (Class 1,4&5)
– Willing to learn and grow with the company
– Able to perform some physical duties lifting up to 40 pounds
– Be highly motivated, detailed-oriented and organized
