Our client in Vancouver is looking for a Transaction Technician to join their team on a one-year contract. The position will be remote for the foreseeable future with the potential to become a hybrid role. Experience in life insurance or a similar field is an assest

Responsibilities
Responsible for incoming mail and emails
Index new work requests within the Workflow system 
Address changes and returned mailed
Beneficiary changes 
Process incoming premium payments
Identify rules and procedures that require updating and suggest improvements to simplify processes and gain efficiencies
Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
General college degree/diploma and 1 year relevant office or administrative experience
 Good computer skills
 Good verbal and written communication skills
 Excellent judgement and detail-oriented
 Client-focused
 Works well independently and in a team environment
 Positive attitude, proactive and self-motivated
 Knowledge of life insurance an asset
