Technical Sales Representative – Automation Industry

Our client in the automation industry is looking for a keen self-starter to add to their sales team.This person is in charge of the company’s front end sales and needs to have a knack for capturing and creating opportunities.Our client is looking for someone who is fine with being on the road and front facing customers. A good portion of this person’s role will be to do presentations.This person needs to have a collaborative nature while also being an independent hunter.This role involves:-working closely with the management and sales team-business development and increasing market share with existing customers-participating in sales development strategies and training-fostering and maintaining relationships with prospect and clients-using the tools provided to create strategic sales plans-understanding and using the KPIs to drive business forward-maintaining and upgrading product knowledge-building and maintaining relationships with supplies-traveling and being on the road to do presentationsAdvantages-permanent position-Base salary + commission -commission % is negotiable -car allowance and gas card-full benefits-20-30% travel (within COVID restrictions)-stable company-immediate startQualifications• relevant experience in automation and/or integration• engineering degree with sales experience-desire to keep learning and growing; open-minded to continuing education/training-entrepreneurial spirit and ability to take ownership of his/her business-valid driver’s license and access to vehicle-strong verbal and written communication skills-ability to build strong rapport and foster relationships with prospects, clients, sales team, and suppliers-good listening and problem-solving skills-strong sales acumen through consultative selling-great ability to networkRESPONSIBILITIESQUALIFICATIONS
