Apply to this amazing Business Analyst opportunity today!ADVANTAGESWhat’s in it for you!As a Business Analyst with our Downtown Vancouver client, you’ll receive:• Highly competitive market hourly rates.• A 6-month contract with a strong probability of extension.• Remote video interview process.• Beautiful Downtown Vancouver office.RESPONSIBILITIES•Gather requirements and user experience by facilitating conversations, interviews, and workshops.•Facilitate product manager and team with decisions based on data analysis•Aligning overall scope and sequencing recommendations with product manager and technical team•Including dependency management and architectural decisions in requirements•Participate with product management to create business epics and manage them.•Create detailed user stories aligned to business epics and requirements including Acceptance Criteria and Definition of Done•Utilizes artifacts such as JIRA, Confluence and Business Process Documentation to facilitate requirement alignment sessions•Help the team to groom backlog•Analyze, reconcile, and translate business needs into functional and non-functional requirements, use cases and process flows.•Work with other business analysts to clarify cross functional requirements and issues.•Create technical epics and stories for the team to deliver new APIs, while working with architect and technical lead.•Conduit between the internal cross-functional partners, external vendor partners and the software development team.•Understand the interactions with other systems and assist in the development of end-to-end integration test plans and user acceptance test plan.•Help in user acceptance testing and feature deployment process.•System analyst skills to manage data in MDM package and execute very minimal configuration work. •Able to query data from data repositories for analysis or diagnosis purposes•Work with operations and development to perform root-cause analysis for production issues.QUALIFICATIONS•Diploma or Degree in Computer Science or Business Administration or other related field or equivalent industry experience.•5+ years of business analysis/industry work experience.•Experience with ecommerce, large website builds, multi-channel digital projects & campaigns and mobile app development preferred.•Experience in customer profile and identity management•Experience in working with technical teams building enterprise services.•Some technical familiarity including but not limited to SQL queries, using MDM packages, looking into system logs.•Familiarity with IT SDLC processes in Agile environments•Familiarity with business modelling and process documentation. •Exceptional analytical and communication skills.SUMMARYIf you’re an assertive IT professional keen to hone your Agile experience in a rapidly evolving global organization, then the Business Analyst role with our Downtown Vancouver client could be the perfect opportunity for you!Please contact Danielle Jacobson with your resume at:danielle.jacobson@randstad.ca
