Cultus Lake Park is inviting applications from qualified candidates to fill the seasonal positions of Gatehouse Customer Service at the Sunnyside Campground from March 15 to September 6, 2021 (may be extended based on operational needs). Under the direction of the Campground Manager, the Gatehouse Customer Service performs a variety of customer service functions, such as booking sites, responding to routine inquiries; taking payments; checking-in and checking-out campers; selling items such as firewood, ice and camping supplies; performing daily cash reconciliations; reporting safety hazards and bylaw infractions; maintaining the security of buildings; and maintaining the gatehouse.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Completion of grade 12 and a minimum of one-year experience in a similar work environment, or an equivalent combination of education/experience.
Cash handling and cash reconciliation experience. Basic computer experience.
Possess Occupational First Aid Level I or recognized equivalent is an asset. Ability to work with minimal supervision and effectively handle conflicting priorities.
Excellent communication skills, including the ability to express thoughts and ideas clearly and converse with a wide range of people including contractors, staff, and the public.
The wage rate for this seasonal position is $16.00 per hour. You will be paid 10.6% in lieu of benefits on each pay period.
