What will you do?
As a Senior Technical Project Manager with our Vancouver client, you will:
Act as the lead project leader for one or multiple strategic/high profile key clients.
Continuously strengthen client relationships with exemplary project leadership and delivery.
Establish and maintain trusted advisor relationships with client project stakeholders by providing vision and future product roadmapping.
Create and manage project plans; monitor and review project progress and timelines; adjust schedules and plans as needed; and identify and resolve issues to ensure project success.
Ensure on time and on budget delivery of projects while also ensuring that project gates and governance are properly adhered to during the execution of the project.
Track utilization of project resources and manage this against the resource allocation and budget. This includes on time entry and approvals for project timesheets.
How do you qualify?
To qualify for the Senior Project Manager role with our Vancouver client, you
7-10 years IT professional services as a project manager.
Solid business and project financial management skills, budget control.
Track of record of positive client facing experience and partnering with multiple stakeholders.
Understanding of client business requirements, and ability to present them in a form that is comprehensible to business users and IT professionals.
Expert understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle.
Proficient in both Agile and/or Waterfall methodologies.
Exceptional planning, organizational and problem solving skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills that allow you to clearly and concisely present information to various levels of stakeholders.
