Apply to this amazing Senior Business Analyst/Product Owner opportunity today!ADVANTAGES- Highly competitive market hourly rates- A 12-month contract with a strong probability of extension- Remote positionRESPONSIBILITIES- Drive business analysis activities such as requirements elicitation, writing epics, user stories and acceptance criteria, process definition, systems mapping, and functional test planning.- Gathers, analyzes, documents, reviews and communicates requirements across stakeholder groups.- Partners with business stakeholders to prioritize epics based on delivering business value- Works very closely with business stakeholders and SMEs to understand the why behind prioritization of capabilities, epics and features and owns the management of the backlog- Understands business processes and requirements, and understands how they fall into the overall goals of the product- Exercises influence of stakeholders with thoughtful and tactful communication to drive decisions.- Has the technical skills and knowledge to communicate between Business partners and the Development Team- Assists in establishing strategic objectives and converting them into strategic themes.- Identifies opportunities to elevate business by relevant use of technology.- Effectively communicates with a variety of stakeholders on business expectations and constraints.- Develop end user communication, training guides, policies, and procedures.- Supports complex business processes- Defines UAT and SIT testing phases throughout the project and support phases.- Aligning overall scope and sequencing recommendations with business stakeholders.- Acts as subject matter expert of business processes and systems flow within a functional area.- Develops end user communication, training guides, policies, and procedures.QUALIFICATIONS- Strong analytic thinking and applies varied techniques to support efficient requirementsgathering- Expert-level understanding of software development practices and project life cycles- Demonstrated knowledge of one or more complex functional domains- Strong written and verbal communication skills- 6+ years in a Business Analyst role; Experience in a retail environment is essential- Retail apparel industry knowledge is an asset- Product Lifecycle Management application use is an asset- Agile certification is an assetSUMMARYThe Sr. Business Analyst will work with teams including product design and development, commercialization, raw materials, quality, product education, product packaging, compliance, product operations, and cross functional technology teams to support driving value to the business capabilities. Working in an agile delivery framework, the Sr. BA will define the technology/feature roadmap required to deliver new capabilities and expand or enhance existing capabilities requested by business stakeholders. they will work closely with the Program Manager and Scrum Masters to prepare for quarterly planning sessions.They will facilitate prioritizing the backlog , create and deliver epics/user stories to the development team, participate in sprint ceremonies and support users post release deployment. The Senior Business Analyst reports to the Technology Manager.Leads business analysis activities such as requirements elicitation, process definition, and systems mapping. Acts as liaison between business and technology stakeholders. Rationalizes and understands how technology can solve business problems. Through adaptable communication skills and the ability to translate between technical and business language, they work collaboratively, negotiating requirements and priorities across multiple groups.
