Sales and Product Training Leader – Coquitlam

Our client in Coquitlam in the automotive industry is looking for a tenured Sales and Product Training Leader.

This person will be in charge of educating and training sales teams throughout the Lower Mainland.

*Access to a vehicle and a valid driver’s license is necessary*

This person will be required to:

-business development within internal organization; selling to franchisees
-training franchisees on product knowledge and sales techniques
-planning and creating strategies with franchisees to optimize selling trends
-collaborating with internal teams to meet sales targets
-growing franchisee numbers and fostering those opportunities
-working closely with the regional leader and national accounts team
-promoting events and training to franchisees
-scheduling, planning, and coordinating various presentations or training events
-holding calls with stakeholders
-devising sales strategies and implementing them with stakeholders
-being on top of all paperwork and CRM related items
-doing market scans and gathering data to stay competitive within the market
-keeping up-to-date with product knowledge and territory progress

Advantages
-$70000-$80000 base salary
-20% collective bonus (based on budet/individual, region, national efforts)
-commission: competitions, SPIFFs, promotions, contests
-car allowance
-on the road traveling and meeting with people (normally about 75%; now about 30%)

Qualifications
**access to a vehicle and a valid driver’s license*

-over 7 years of sales training and/or training experience
-experience and knowledge in the automotive parts industry
-ability to manage time and schedules
-capacity to work in high pressure situations and meet deadlines
-computer savvy
-customer service oriented
-strong verbal and written communication skills
-flexible, agile, and adaptable
-high level of honesty and integrity
-coachable
-university or college degree in commerce, marketing, or sales
-self-start and team player
-problem-solving attitude
