About the role:
As a skilled Maintenance Millwright, the role will have you undertake a variety of tasks ranging from general maintenance through to preventative and corrective maintenance, troubleshooting and problem solving the machines.
– Rotational 2 weeks on dayshifts and 2 weeks on evening shifts (4 days/10 hours)
morning – start between 5-8:30 am
afternoon – starts between 2-4:30 pm

-Responsible to adhere to food quality and food safety as per quality standards and/or Safe Quality Food requirements.
-Troubleshoots and repairs mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical/electronic equipment, will provide measurable improvements and enhancements systems.
-Plans and performs complex corrective and preventative maintenance requiring a thorough knowledge of mechanical theories and principles.
-Will be required to understand and baseline the current state in terms of the effectiveness of work order planning and scheduling and cost (materials, resources, time) implications.
-Contributes to measurable improvements in scheduled, unscheduled and break down maintenance related down time and the costs associated with these events to contribute to CPC (cost per case) goals for each plant and shares best practices across and within the enterprise.
-Must be willing to work a rotating shift schedule – Day and Afternoon shift
-Must be a self-starter who is able to work in a team and independently
-Must have an Inter-provincial Journeyman License
-Electrician or Millwright (Dual Ticket – Electrician/Millwright an asset)
-Must have 4th Class Power Engineer Certificate
-5 years production/line machine maintenance experience
-Line maintenance within a food and beverage production environment preferred
