Purchase Order Administrator

Our client in North Vancouver is looking for a Purchase Order Administrator to assist with a project for 3 weeks with the possibility of an extension depending on workload. Please see below for more info regarding the open position.

Advantages
– Purchase order / SKU tracing – (connect with vendors to gather information about the status of purchase orders)
– Product / SKU estimated time of arrival/delivery follow-up “ETA follow-up” – (request shipment tracking numbers from manufacturers and report as needed)
– Data consolidation to produce internal communication reports as needed.
– Communicate order changes or updates to Purchasers for a system update.
– Respond/follow-up to CSR’s and Sales reps regarding product ETA requests.

Qualifications
a) Excellent communication skills (written and verbal – many calls for our Sales Teams, CSRs, and vendors)
b) Customer service (at least 1 year)
c) Computer literacy with a focus on Outlook and Excel (Intermediate level is accepted)
d) Administrative Assistant experience in a procurement/purchasing environment (at least 1 year)
