We are seeking a seasoned project professional to join our team as a regular full-time Project Delivery Lead 2. In this role an incumbent will be responsible for supervisory and complex technical work in planning, managing and implementing large municipal infrastructure projects. Our Project Delivery Lead 2 will develop project plans, lead project teams, monitor budgets and construction progress and ensure projects are completed to scope. This role will supervise the work of a small group of subordinates and provide leadership to project teams, coordinate task assignments and resources, and prepare and maintain a variety of records, reports, correspondence, contracts and documents related to the work. Considerable independence of judgement and action will be expected in all technical aspects of the work while policy and significant budgetary matters are to be discussed with a superior, ensuring effective and efficient service delivery and attainment of goals are met.

The successful candidate will have a university degree in engineering, architecture or technology supplemented by leadership courses and a project management certificate plus considerable related experience managing civic infrastructure projects or an equivalent combination of education and experience. A Driver’s License for the Province of BC is required.

A CUPE hourly rate of $43.90 to $51.87 and also offers a competitive benefits package and an earned day off program. Applicants under consideration will be required to consent to a Police Information Check and provide an acceptable driver’s abstract.
