The District of Oak Bay is a picturesque oceanfront community within the Greater Victoria Region, with a population of over 18,000. With a progressive Council and Leadership Team in place, and with a significant infrastructure renewal program in its early stages receiving community support, the District is now seeking a Program Manager – Facilities and Asset Management to help create a robust facilities management program.

Reporting to the Director of Engineering and Public Works, the Program Manager – Facilities and Asset Management will lead the team that delivers technical analysis, capital project delivery, and support to facilities operations, maintenance and capital renewal in the District.

Our ideal candidate will have a professional certification (such as Project Management Professional, Professional Engineer, Architect AIBC or Applied Science Technologist) with a bachelor’s degree and/or certification in a construction or capital project management field. Our ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years supervisory/management experience delivering results in a local government environment.

The salary range for this position is $101,271 to $116,161. The District offers a comprehensive benefits plan, a supportive work environment and continued career and professional development.
