Police Clerk II (Records Section) – Casual
As part of the Support Services Branch, Records staff are responsible for numerous clerical functions within the department’s Records Management System. There are varied classifications within the Records Department which include: Canadian Police Information Centre (CPIC) Clerks, Records Clerks, Court Liaison Officers, Quality Assurance Analysts, Transcription Coordinators and Transcribers.
Independence and judgment are essential in the performance of assigned duties. Since this position is casual, there is no guarantee of hours and you do need to be very flexible as this is a 24/7 operation. Casual staff are required to work a variety of shifts, including days, evenings, weekends & statutory holidays.
The successful candidates must obtain and maintain an enhanced security clearance, which includes a polygraph test.
