Outside Sales Representative – North Vancouver

Our client in the automotive industry in North Vancouver, BC is looking for an Account Manager for a 1 year term. This individual would be covering for a maternity leave.

This individual must have a car and a valid driver’s license.

S/he would be responsible for:

-the full sales cycle; lead generation, presentation, and closing
-following up with existing clients
-booking visits/meetings with prospects
-doing targeted sales presentations, illustrating a wide range of product knowledge
-understanding prospect/client needs and assisting with proper products
-finding opportunities to up-sell
-building relationships with suppliers/vendors and inside sales teams within the company in order to grow market share and hit budgets
-focusing on KPIs to use as a measureable tool to hit targets
-continuing to learn and further product knowledge
-participating in training
-maintaining a positive, no-quit attitude
-staying on top of inventory and other organizational tools
-utilizing computer system to keep track of orders

-$70000-$80000 annual salary
-car allowance/reimbursement
-commission is negotiable
-traveling and meeting with prospects and clients
-benefits negotiable

**must have access to a vehicle and a valid driver’s license**

-automotive industry experience is an asset
-computer fluency
-B2B outsales experience or account management experience
-strong sales track record
-able to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
-strong written and verbal communication skills
-good listening skills
-high level of customer service
-ability to multi-task and ability to prioritize; good time management
-self-start; can work independently as well as on a team
-physically capable of standing or walking for long periods of time
-capable of lifting over 20 lbs
-great at building and maintaining relationships
