Job Description

Capital Direct specializes in home equity and residential mortgage financing for individuals in a variety of credit situations. Founded in 1997, the company now has offices in Vancouver, Calgary, Edmonton, Toronto and Charlottetown and has become one of the fastest growing, non-traditional private lending companies in Canada. Our mission is to help Canadians access the equity in their homes to become financially better off.

We are looking for a Mortgage Broker to join our busy team:

Duties:
The direct and indirect solicitation of mortgages.
Taking mortgage applications.
Building relationships with clients.
Present approvals.
Credit adjudication.
Closing deals.
Analyzing data and market trends.

Broker Requirements:
Finance or banking related qualifications.
Sub-Mortgage Broker License – Registrar of Mortgage Brokers B.C.
Superior organizational and multitasking skills.
Ability to demonstrate high levels of customer service and support.
Mortgage broker/banking experience 1 year (preferred).
Experience in equity lending.
Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.

Languages:
English required.
Mandarin/Cantonese an asset.

Schedule:
Monday to Friday 8:30-5.00 pm

Salary:
Depending on experience, we can work out salary + commission structure
