Job Description:Title: LandscaperPosition: Full Time – Monday – FridayTimes: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM | may change based on property needs.Compensation Dependent on Experience: $21- $24 / hourPaid as a bi monthly salary.Extended health benefits included after a 4 month probation period. Uniquely a Kevington Rental Experiencewww.kevingtonbuilding.com LandscaperRole and Responsibilities: The day-to-day duties include all aspects of outdoor property maintenance – grass cutting, trimming, weeding, removal of garbage, brush, leaf, and debris. You will perform general plant care, planting, fertilizing, harvesting vegetables etc. Always keeping an eye that the overall exterior property is clean and inviting; Do routine maintenance and minor repairs to property buildings, facilities and parking areas; Check condition of sites as needed Identify and inform managers regarding additional work needed and problems observed at all properties; Check and maintain recreational amenities to ensure proper safety standards are met, completing any minor repairs as needed; Follow safety procedures while working, including safely operating vehicles when moving from site to site when completing tasks; Offer strong customer service to Tenants and public at large; Help with the preparation of special events and activities; Other duties and projects as assigned. Qualifications: Ability to work in a team environment and with minimal supervision; Ability to operate small maintenance equipment, lawnmowers, weed eaters and trimmers; Knowledge and ability to safely conduct basic maintenance on equipment used around the property; Strong problem-solving abilities; Hard working, reliable, and focused on providing exceptional customer service; Physical ability to perform the required duties. Must be comfortable working in all weather conditions – this is an outside, year-round position. Must hold a Valid BC driver’s licence and clear driving record; Experience in similar role; Bonus Qualifications: Ability to operate light mobile equipment, Bobcat or fork lift an asset; Beekeeping experience an asset or willingness to learn; Possession of or ability to obtain a pesticide & herbicide applicators certificate (landscape and garden). Willing to learn any new skills needed like bee keeping and code 20 licence; Familiarity with towing trailers an asset; Ability to prioritize daily work tasks and be able to adapt to changing priorities.Company Description:Kevington Group of Companies is an innovative and growing real estate development and property management company which has been active in Vancouver since 1967.
