ABOUT YOU
You are a team player with the ability to work on commercial size landscapes of varying types from traditional landscape to perennial plant garden areas. You are reliable to work at our twelve recreational facilities with varied landscaping and gardens of diverse sizes that require maintenance and capital improvements. You are efficient at grounds maintenance tasks including grass cutting, planting, weeding and some hard landscaping under the direct supervision of the Landscape Horticulturist (Trades II Gardener).

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS
Previous related experience or an equivalent combination of training and experience preferred. A valid Class 5 BC driver’s license.

All employees will be available to work at any North Vancouver Recreation & Culture location. All candidates are required to submit a Police Information Check as a requirement of the position.

This is an auxiliary position which may involve shifts 4-5 days a week. The pay for this unionized position is $27.54 per hour plus 12% in lieu of benefits (based on 2019 rates).
