Labourer (Multiple Positions)
Laborers at the District of Squamish play a key role in safely constructing, maintaining, and improving essential community services. These positions will be placed in to one of our Public Works work area’s: Parks, Roads and Drainage, or Utilities. As an essential stepping stone into municipal operations work, temporary full-time Labourers ensure the continued success and operation of the Public Works department, and the District of Squamish.
The successful candidate will possess two years’ experience in laboring work, a Traffic Control Person Certification, and WHIMIS. Thorough knowledge of occupational hazards, demonstrated strength and stamina, and excellent customer service are required.
