Attention HR Generalists! One of our clients in downtown Vancouver is looking for an HR professional to support their growing team. This is a fast-paced, challenging role within a union and non-union environment. Reporting directly to the Human Resources Director, the Human Resources Generalist plays an integral role within the company. The Generalist will be responsible for supporting the day to day HR functions at head office, implementing and communicating HR strategies and objectives with employees, and providing guidance and support of all HR programs.  This is a true generalist opportunity! Responsibilities Recruitment: *Prepare and post job ads while monitoring inbox, screening resumes, and coordinating interviews with hiring managers *Conduct reference checks and coordinate offer letters New Staff Onboarding: *Conduct orientation, office tours/introductions/etc and prepare workstation/office*Review group benefits, office policies and procedures, and draft announcements*Collect payroll and benefit forms HR/Benefits Administration: *Draft EE letters using templates (employment letters, jury duty etc) *Add/terminate/update employee info on payroll and benefits system *Maintain all employee files  and verify/code invoices Safety:*Complete and submit Form 7 and EIIR (3 locations) *Attend JHSC Meetings, compile minutes, agenda, and quarterly safety stats *Lease with WorkSafe as required on open claims *Maintain OFA Level 2 * Main point of contact for all employee relations* Assist with HR programs, initiatives and social events * Learn and cross-train on Payroll system (ADP Pay@Work / EZ Labour systems) Requirements: *Approachable and easy to work with (lots of collaboration) *Enjoy wearing different hats as needed and versatile, able to pivot as needed *Organized and meticulous *Reliable – good attendance is a must *Payroll and benefits administration experience is an asset  If you would like to learn more about this opportunity please reach out to me directly at Katelyn.Schoen@randstad.ca!All the best, KatelynADVANTAGESAttention HR Generalists!
