Full time Front Desk Representative/Relief auditor (Vancouver)

Proud to be a part of the Intercontinental Hotels Group family, The Holiday Inn Vancouver Centre on 711 West Broadway is a newly renovated 197 room hotel located in the heart of Vancouver, British Columbia. We are currently recruiting for a dynamic individual to fill the position of Guest Services Representative/Relief Auditor.

Job Description:

*Providing exceptional customer service by going an extra mile for our guests
*Accurately billing and tallying individual accounts
*Basic concierge duties such as giving out directions
*Checking guests in/out of hotel
*Answering switchboard
*Responding to guest inquiries and requests
*Completing shift checklists
*Other duties and projects as assigned
*Cash handling

Job Requirements:

*Knowledge on Opera property management system an asset
*Grade 12 completion. Post secondary education in Tourism/Hospitality programs an asset.
*Excellent customer service skills and attitude
*Strong communication and interpersonal skills
*Ability to handle challenging situations with tact and diplomacy
*Previous front desk experience is required
*Excellent command of the English language, verbal and written. Second language an asset.
*Must be available to work shifts. (AM, PM, Nights and weekends)

compensation: $16.46 starting to $22.85
