North Vancouver Recreation & Culture (NVRC) is dedicated to building healthy individuals, families and communities. We offer a wide range of recreation and cultural programs and services to residents of all ages and abilities. We are looking for positive, enthusiastic and friendly individuals to deliver memorable experiences to our customers.

You will be an integral part of our dedicated Fitness team who continually strive to make a difference in the recreation and cultural lives of North Vancouver residents by providing excellent customer service experiences.

You are an energetic and highly-motivated individual who is available to instruct one or more of our Pilates programs. You are skilled at proper and safe use of a variety of equipment during each class. You are a team player who is committed to community. You are reliable, responsive to customer needs and excellent at building relationships. You are courteous and effective with the public and enjoy working with a diverse group of people and instructing in a safe and friendly manner.

The ideal candidate will have the BCRPA Group Fitness certification with a specialty in Pilates or equivalent Pilate’s certification from a recognized provider and a current certification in Emergency First Aid & CPR/AED.

Hours may vary and instructors should be prepared to work days, evenings and weekends at any North Vancouver Recreation & Culture location. All candidates are required to submit a Police Information Check as a requirement of the position.

HOURLY RATE:              
$26 – $28 plus 4% in lieu of benefits for Membership programs. Rate based on training and experience.
 $32 plus 4% in lieu of benefits for Registered programs.
