Job Description:At High Potential Recruiting, we are looking for an Event Relationship Specialist for our client located in Vancouver. About the Role: Our client is currently looking for a motivated professional to fill an Event Relationship Specialist position to represent further their client-partner in telecommunications. The Event Relationship Specialist will work within a team and be responsible for developing and leading the execution of a local marketing event strategy in the field and on location. This person will also identify and evaluate new initiatives and review existing programs required to support their client-partner marketing strategies to drive penetration in the target markets. If you are a high-energy, self-driven, and results-oriented individual who is looking for an opportunity to work with a high-performing team, we’d love to hear from you. * The salary for this position will start at $50,000 per year, plus a quarterly bonus of $1250 at 100% to target* Job Description:Execute on marketing event strategy to increase penetration of client-partners products/servicesDevelop and trial different marketing approaches to uncover and recommend the optimal marketing strategy and sales approaches for the regionLeverage market knowledge and market research and analytics to build, secure alignment, and execute a community-centric marketing event strategyUnderstand the community landscape and be a champion for a community-centered marketing approach through continuous networkingCoach and mentor a team of direct to consumer sales representatives at various on-location events across the region ensuring appropriate brand representationOversee set up and tear down of regional marketing events (flexible hours required) Requirements & Qualifications:A degree in Marketing/Business or a related field strongly preferredAdaptive self-starter who takes ownership, initiative and has a bias for actionWillingness to challenge the status quo and take action to make continuous improvementsStrong analytical, written, verbal communication, and time management skillsAbility to communicate ideas clearly and motivate cross-functional teams towards a common goalAbility to network, develop and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders and team membersProven track record to meet tight deadlines, tolerate ambiguity, and work well under pressureMinimum of 2 years experience in an event planning, marketing role, or sales management roleFlexible schedule: available to work evenings and weekends, from a home-based office and on event locationAvailable to travel up to 100% of time and access to a vehicleSense of humorAvailable to work full timeAbility to pass a criminal check18+ years or older How to apply: Our client’s team is tasked with leveraging the best of what they already do with their client-partner and adding in the best of what we know to be possible.
