The Engagement department encourages and facilitates civic participation in local government. It plans the City’s communications, keeps residents informed of City news and connects media with City spokespeople.
We have two exciting opportunities to join the City of Victoria as an Engagement Coordinator. One opportunity is continuous, and one is temporary. Both positions will provide engagement and communications advice and planning to develop and implement a variety of projects supporting City programs, services and initiatives.
Engagement services include leadership and implementation of public consultation to gather input from residents and businesses to help inform Council decision making and guide the development of City programs, services and initiatives.
Communication services include public information, graphic design, the City’s website, social media and video and photography.
