Job Description:The Digital Merchandise Planning Specialist is accountable for superior sales, inventory, and margin results for the online store. Specific responsibilities include:Identify user demands via user research (trend report analysis, focus groups, market analysis, data analysis, fitting sessions)Incorporate user insights into each season’s collection plan with the product development teamDevise and actively manage online product assortment strategies to meet key merchandising metricsStrategically plan order placement and pricing to ensure superior sell-through rate and marginsReview sales data and draw actionable conclusions to inform future order placement and pricingOther tasks as required Requirements:A solid grasp on retail mathematics2+ years of experience in a merchant/buyer/digital strategy roleEcommerce experience preferredDetail-orientation – ability to carry out thorough, accurate, and organized data entry and analysisEntrepreneurship – ability to take ownership of responsibilities and take calculated risksProficiency in MS OfficeCompany Description:We are committed to providing superior-quality, resonably priced products and effective service to our users; fair wages, benefits, and good working conditions to our employees; and good citizenship and active participation in our communities.
