We are currently looking for a contract analyst to support our corporation client in Vancouver office. If hired you will work full-time hours on a 1-year assignment (beginning ASAP), be paid $21.40 per hour, and be responsible for supporting day-to-day activities for a group of partners, including the following:
•Review of software licensing and IT services agreements for key terms and compliance requirements
•Generation of purchase orders (POs), entering vendor invoices into the financial accounting system, and processing and obtaining required approvals for invoices
•Responding to invoicing queries, responding to queries from the business, obtaining proper billing codes and approvals from clients territories, and making adjustments as necessary
•Calculating and processing internal cost recovery
•Maintaining reliable records and work product for later reference and auditing
•Supporting and/or leading the completion of other tasks, as required
• Work for a top-tier organization in the Global Licensing Services Corporation
• Earn the competitive wage of $21.50 per hour
• Work in DT Vancouver
• Work full-time business hours (between 8:30am and 5:00pm)
• 1-year contract with possibility to perm
•3-6+ years of experience working within an accounting team with a proven track record of progression
•Self-starter with the ability to adapt and add value in a fast paced environment and who owns a task seeing it through to completion even amidst any uncertainties.
•Effectively multitask and prioritize workload across multiple projects and with different stakeholders concurrently.
•Proficiency with the full set of Microsoft Office and/or G Suite along with advanced Microsoft Excel and/or Google Sheets skills considered an asset.
•Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
•Clearly communicate (written and verbal) findings, options, and recommendations, and risks.
•Excellent customer service and organizational skills with strong attention to detail.
•Work effectively in a virtual team environment and/or experience working in a global team across varying time zones considered a plus.
•Experience with procurement and legal contracts considered a plus
