Bylaw Enforcement Coordinator

Join our City team as a Bylaw Enforcement Coordinator and provide support by delivering front line service including, interpretive, investigative, screening and adjudication assistance to the public, external agencies, and City Staff.

The ideal candidate will have an Office Administration Certificate (Minimum 1 year post-secondary), along with the Bylaw Enforcement & Investigative Skills Level I (Justice Institute Level I or equivalent).  Experience with financial reporting, purchase orders and the ability to analyze data, legislation and policy is a must. You must be bondable for cash handling purposes and be able to obtain an RCMP Enhanced Security Clearance.

We are looking for a positive team player with related experience in adjudication and investigation of files for dispute purposes along with a strong familiarity of court processes and procedures, great communications skills and a proactive, can-do attitude.  A keen attention to detail and superior customer services skills are essential for success in this role.
