Job Description: Requirements:Applicants must understand bookkeeping concepts and practices.Applicants must have taken QuickBooks courses or have work experience with QuickBooks.Applicants must be also proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Adobe and internet applications.Knowledge of both Windows and Macintosh systems an asset.Applicant must have strong organizational and interpersonal skills. Job ResponsibilitiesBookkeeping using QuickBooks – invoicing, accounts payable and accounts receivable functions, payroll, entering and reconciling credit card expenses, entering and reconciling bank statements, submitting government remittances for payroll , income tax and GST, preparing T4s. Experience preparing the fiscal year end submission for the accountant is an asset.Office management – preparing expense sheets in Excel, arranging couriers, stocking office supplies, administering the employee health plan, organizing the office, arranging for presentations for the architects, plus other general duties.
