Bilingual New Accounts Administrator

Our client who is a leading wealth management organization located in Downtown Vancouver is looking to add a Senior Bilingual (French) New Accounts Administrator to their growing & successful operations team. The majority of this role will be completed remotely but will transition into an onsite role. RESPONSIBILITIES
– Review new account application documentation
– Verify the identity of clients and prescribed individuals associated with accounts, primarily to combat money laundering and terrorist financing activities
– Open/close/maintain client accounts across various platforms
– Process systematic plans and bank information setups
– Investigate account related issues and take appropriate actions to correct
– Facilitate regular quality assurance tests. Enhance quality assurance measures
– Communicate and coordinate with other departments regarding account-related requests
– Generate departmental reports for management
– Provide training and on-going support to others in the department
– Remain current on PCMLTFA, FATCA, CRS and Qualified Intermediary regulations

QUALIFICATIONS
– Post-secondary education
– Minimum of 3 years financial industry experience
– Bilingual (French)
– Experience with Dataphile is an asset
– Ability to work independently and in a team environment in a fast-paced environment
– Excellent time management and organizational skills
– Pro-active problem-solving abilities with strong analytical skills
– Outstanding customer service focus
– Extremely detail-oriented and accurate with a focus on quality assurance
– Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines
– Fluent communication skills in both English and French are required
