This role is responsible for the daily air freight import/export operations and high levels of customer service.
Prepare quotations for agents within 24 hours of a request (unless special circumstances exist)
Open files and ensure all documents are accurate and complete prior to shipment departure date
Pre-alert client / agent on the status of the shipment as per the SOP
Ensure all files are handled according to the general and/or client specific SOP as necessary
Ensure all requests are acknowledged within 24 hours of receipt
Trace shipments daily and update client/agent on the shipment status as per customer guidelines
Issue invoices within 48 hours of departure or delivery
Approve payables within 72 hours of receipt
Close files accurately and completely (invoice, accrue cost, profit loss, all documents are complete) within 24 – 48 hours of delivery or departure
Maintain and update client status report in accordance with expectations for each client – daily / weekly
Liaison with Customs brokers – on release and delivery of freight.
Check where required and possible – number of pieces and containers match on Commercial invoice and House bill/manifest.
Ensure all documents (re-manifests and de-consolidations ) and final files are CBSA compliant
Retrieve Client commercial invoices from third party sources (e.g. Prada/Armani) match with relevant shipment – and check for accuracy – before submitting to BRI Customs.
Liaise with Foreign agents, Rodair Fashion Logistics and Rodair Customs on Fashion shipment – from origin and up to delivery to Rodair Fashion .
M-F (there may be some need for after-hours/weekend support)

2 – 3 years of industry experience
CITT and/or CIFFA certifications considered an asset
Thorough knowledge and understanding of Air Import/ Export environment
Strong attention to detail
