We are the largest privately held consultancy in Atlantic Canada, Mariner has one of the deepest pools of IT, Cybersecurity, Change Management, and technical expertise in Atlantic Canada, serving clients across the public sector, utilities, healthcare, financial, and ICT industries.Job Description We are seeking an AIOps Solutions Architect consultant to augmenting a project team with Splunk Cloud and Enterprise Solutions architecture and technical knowledge and experience in taking an AIOps solution from concept to implementation. This is initially a short-term, contract position and can be remote anywhere in Canada or the United States. We seek someone with:Proven track record in design & architecture of AIOps powered solutions aligned with customer and technical requirements.Oversee and guide our consultants’ configuration of Splunk Cloud or Enterprise platform, ensuring a right-first-time approach to minimize trial and error.Passion for customers and problem solving.You are a people person that understands technology, with strong business acuity and communication skills.Comfort working with, and as part of a remote team.Qualifications5 years of related experience including at least 2 years’ experience with Splunk Administration.Ability to design Splunk Enterprise architecture.Ability to assist and provide expert best practices to the project team.Experience in ingesting logs, indexing data, field extractions using regular expression, merging different data sources together, search optimization, creating reports and dashboards, isolating outliers and creating alerts using Splunk toolsets.Exposure to advanced Splunk topics including Splunk Machine Learning, Kafka Integration, Security Monitoring.Experience in technical requirement gathering.A clear understanding of storage fundamentals and understanding/measuring storage performance at scale.Experience with scripting languages to automate tasks and manipulate data.Knowledge of enterprise logging.Strong knowledge (recent experience) with the AWS cloud and Splunk Cloud.Exceptional verbal, written, organizational, presentation, and communication skills.Demonstrable success in working with a remote team.BA/BS preferred in computer science, computer/software engineering or equivalent work experience.Additional Information Why Mariner Partners?
