On behalf of the ACTS Seminaries Consortium, Trinity Western Seminary is seeking to appoint an Assistant Professor of Marriage and Family Therapy. This half-time faculty position involves two principal areas of responsibility: classroom instruction within the Master of Arts in Marriage and Family Therapy (MAMFT) program, and administrative duties in the operation of the program. This appointment starts January 2019. The ideal candidate will: – Possess an earned doctorate in the field; – Have a family and couple therapy training background; – Show evidence of potential for scholarly productivity; – Have experience teaching at the graduate level; – Collaborate on curriculum and program development – Serve on various departmental and school-wide committees – Participate in professional development activities and community service – Advocate for the MCFT profession nationally and regionally – Have the ability to sign at least one faith/denominational statement of the partner seminaries of ACTS Seminaries – Have an appreciation for cross cultural ministry and counseling practices – Possess certification as CAMFT (RMFT) preferably with supervisor status or supervisor in training Interested candidates may apply by clicking ‘Apply” above.
