Accounting Clerk for Law Firm (Downtown)

Would you love to work in a fast-paced, high profile law firm, right in the downtown core? If you have post-secondary accounting education and at least 1-2 years of current hands-on experience in general accounting, then this role might suit you! Reporting to the Director of Finance, this role comprises AR and Billing Clerk duties along with providing general assistance to the Accounting department.

Duties include:

AR deposits and Cash posting

AR Credit card and e-Transfer processing

Daily Disbursement/Cost uploads and post

Assisting with monthly billings and answering queries

Preparing accounting reports

Processing E-Bills and maintaining data

Checking scans, and matching invoices to pre-bill

Assisting with monthly bank reconciliations

Processing G/L Journal Entries

Candidates for this position must be detail-oriented, with strong organisational and computer skills, willing to show initiative and able to meet deadlines. Good working knowledge of Excel a definite asset. Full training will be provided.
